The Boston Bruins have signed forward Danton Heinen to a one-year contract worth $775,000, general manager Don Sweeney announced Monday.
Heinen, 28, scored eight goals and 22 points for the Pittsburgh Penguins over 65 games last season.
He's played in 413 career NHL games with the Penguins, Anaheim Ducks, and Bruins with a career total of 70 goals and 176 points.
He was selected 116th overall by the Bruins in the 2014 NHL Draft.
