The Boston Bruins signed forward Matthew Poitras to a three-year, entry-level contract worth $870K annually on Friday.
The 19-year-old centre was the Bruins' second-round pick (54th overall) in the 2022 NHL Draft.
The Brooklyn, Ont. native collected 95 points (16 goals, 79 assists) in 63 games for the Guelph Storm in the 2022-23 OHL season.
