The Boston Bruins have signed forward Patrick Brown to a two-year deal worth $1.6 million, the club announced Saturday.
The 31-year-old's new deal marks a return to Boston, as he spent four years with Boston College prior to his NHL career.
Brown finished the 2022-23 season with the Ottawa Senators, closing out the campaign with the Canadian club after a year-and-a-half run with the Philadelphia Flyers.
Prior to that 2022-23 split, Brown spent two years with the Vegas Golden Knights, and three years with the Carolina Hurricanes, who signed him out of college in 2014.
Brown has collected 10 goals and 24 points through 138 career NHL appearances. He posted 12 points in 68 games for the Flyers and Senators last season.
