The Boston Bruins have signed forward Pavel Zacha to a four-year, $19-million extension, the team announced Saturday after the team's 4-3 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs. The deal carries an AAV of $4.75 million.
The Czechia native has scored five goals and 25 points in 42 games with the Bruins this season.
Zacha was acquired by the Bruins from the New Jersey Devils during the offseason in a trade that sent Erik Haula to New Jersey.
The 25-year-old was drafted sixth overall by the Devils in the 2015 NHL draft, where he played 386 games and tallied 179 points.
