The Montreal Canadiens will have two veterans back in the lineup when they host the Dallas Stars Thursday night.
The team announced that goaltender Jake Allen and forward Christian Dvorak have been activated from the injured reserve.
Allen has been unavailable for two months after suffering a lower-body injury on Jan. 12. The 31-year-old has a 5-16-2 record this season, his second with the club, with a .901 save percentage.
Dvorak has been limited to only 34 games this season due to injuries and last played Jan. 24 before going down with an upper-body ailment. The 26-year-old has seven goals and 16 points in his first season with the club.
Forward Jesse Ylonen and goaltender Cayden Primeau were assigned to AHL Laval in corresponding moves.
