The Montreal Canadiens will be without forward Kirby Dach for at least one game.
Head coach Martin St. Louis said Dach will miss Tuesday's game against the Carolina Hurricanes with a lower-body injury. Dach, who played Saturday against the Senators, is considered day-to-day.
Josh Anderson and David Savard both missed practice Monday for maintenance while Brendan Gallagher did not skate for personal reasons.
Dach has not missed a game yet this year for the Canadiens after ACL and MCL tears limited him to just two a season ago. In 57 games he has 10 goals and 22 points.
Owen Beck has been called up from the Laval Rocket to take Dach's place against the Hurricanes. He is second on the Rocket with 32 points in 47 AHL games but has zero points in six NHL games.
Samuel Montembeault will start in goal against the Hurricanes.
