Montreal Canadiens forward Jonathan Drouin will return to the lineup Wednesday night against the Ottawa Senators.
Drouin, who was dealing with an upper-body injury, was centring the fourth line alongside Micheal Pezzetta and Joel Armia during morning skate in Ottawa. Rem Pitlick will be a healthy scratch at Canadian Tire Centre.
"Obviously, it's a little different because I haven't played in four weeks," Drouin said. "So it'll be about finding my timing and my legs. That's gonna take a few shifts, a few checks, to get in the game but I didn't hate how I played hockey before getting injured."
The 27-year-old missed the last 13 games and hasn't played since a 5-4 Habs win over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Nov. 12.
Drouin added that he may be given ice time on the power play as soon as Wednesday night.
Drouin only played 12 of Montreal's 28 games this season, picking up four assists in the process.
