Montreal Canadiens defenceman Kaiden Guhle is day to day with an upper-body injury, the team announced Thursday.
Guhle exited Tuesday's loss to the Minnesota Wild with the injury, which he suffered in the second period.
The 21-year-old defenceman missed the final month of last season with a high-ankle sprain and missed two games in March with an upper-body injury.
Despite playing 44 games last season, Guhle managed to score four goals and 18 points while averaging over 20 minutes per game.
Guhle, an Edmonton native, was selected 16th overall in the 2020 NHL Draft.
