Montreal Canadiens defenceman Jordan Harris has been activated off injured reserve and will return to the team's lineup for Thursday's game against the Carolina Hurricanes, the club announced.
Harris has missed the last 15 games due to a lower-body injury.
In corresponding moves, Emil Heineman has been loaned to the AHL's Laval Rocket and Johnathan Kovacevic will be a healthy scratch on Thursday.
Harris has three assists in 16 games this season, along with 28 blocked shots.
Coming off a win against the Chicago Blackhawks, the Canadiens (15-13-5) currently sit in sixth place in the Atlantic Division.
