The Montreal Canadiens continue to get hit by injuries, with forward Josh Anderson leaving Saturday's game against the St. Louis Blues.
Anderson had a Justin Faulk shot go off his foot as he went down for a block while on the penalty kill.
The forward was visibly shaken up and went to the dressing room.
After the game, the Canadiens said Anderson will travel with the team to Philadelphia but also recalled forward Lucas Condotta from the AHL.
The 30-year-old has scored a goal and has registered three points in seven games this season.
Montreal has been hit hard by injuries lately, with Juraj Slafkovsky, Justin Barron and Kaiden Guhle all sidelined. The team has also been without Patrik Laine and David Reinbacher, who were injured before the season began.
