Montreal Canadiens forward Josh Anderson will miss Tuesday's contest against the Arizona Coyotes due to a lower-body injury.

The severity of the injury, and how or when it occurred, is unclear at this time.

Anderson is just the latest forward out with an injury for the Canadiens. The team was already missing Jonathan Drouin, Christian Dvorak, Arturri Lehkonen and Ryan Poehling.

Montreal is also sitting defenceman Ben Chiarot as he awaits a move before Monday's trade deadline.

Anderson has 15 goals and 28 points through 48 games for the last-place Canadiens this season.
