Montreal Canadiens defenceman Kaiden Guhle will miss the remainder of the season due to a high ankle sprain.
The Canadiens made the announcement Tuesday shortly after their 3-2 win at home over the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Guhle had four goals and 14 assists in 44 games during his rookie campaign with the club. His last game was this past Thursday where he registered an assist in Montreal's wild 9-5 loss to the Florida Panthers.
The 21-year-old from Edmonton was drafted in the first round, 16th overall, by Montreal in 2020.
