Canadiens recall Gustav Lindstrom, loan Joel Armia to AHL

The Montreal Canadiens have recalled defenceman Gustav Lindström from Laval and loaned forward Joel Armia to the Rocket.

Lindström has played two games with the Canadiens averaging 11:51 of ice time. The 25-year-old blue liner has also appeared in four games with the Rocket.

Armia has a goal in six games with Montreal this season, re-joining the team after being put on waivers before the start of the season.

The move comes after head coach Martin St-Louis said that defenceman Jordan Harris would be a game-time decision.

Jake Allen will get the start against the Vancouver Canucks Sunday night at 7:00 p.m. ET / 4:00 p.m. PT on Sportsnet+.
