The Montreal Canadiens are calling up one of their promising young forwards.
The team announced on Monday that it has recalled winger Joshua Roy from its AHL affiliate, Laval Rocket.
The 21-year-old started the season with Laval after failing to make the NHL roster out of training camp. In 17 AHL games this season, Roy has put up eight goals and eight assists for 16 points.

The St-Georges-de-Beauce, Que. native was selected in the fifth round, 150th overall, by the Canadiens at the 2021 NHL Draft.
