The Montreal Canadiens have selected Lane Hutson with the 62nd-overall pick in the 2022 NHL Draft.

Hutson, a defenceman for the U.S. National Team Development Program, had six goals and 26 assists in 27 games in the USHL last season.

The Canadiens acquired the 62nd pick from the Edmonton Oilers as part of the Brett Kulak deal at the trade deadline this past season.
