The Montreal Canadiens have signed Northeastern University defenceman Jayden Struble to a two-year entry-level contract, the team announced Wednesday.
The contract is worth $775,000 per season at the NHL level. He also signed a minor league deal worth $70,000 per season.
The Canadiens drafted Struble in the second round in 2019. The 21-year-old had one goal and 12 points in 31 games with the Northeastern Huskies this season.
