Montreal Canadiens 2022 first-overall pick Juraj Slafvovsky will not practice Monday and will undergo medical testing for his upper-body injury, the team announced.
The forward has been listed as day-to-day since Saturday and missed the Canadiens' latest game against the Dallas Stars.
Slafkovsky scored his first NHL goal on Thursday in a 6-2 Canadiens win over the Arizona Coyotes.
The Canadiens (3-3-0) host the Minnesota Wild (1-3-1) on Tuesday night.
