Montreal Canadiens forward Colin White is day-to-day with an upper-body injury and has been placed on injured reserve, the club announced Tuesday.
White was hurt when he crashed into a net at practice on Monday.
The Canadians claimed White, 27, off waivers from the Pittsburgh Penguins on Feb. 22.
White has no points in 16 total NHL games this season.
