The Vancouver Canucks placed forwards Brock Boeser and Curtis Lazar on injured reserve on Wednesday, the team announced.
The team has recalled forwards Sheldon Dries and William Lockwood from AHL Abbotsford.
Later, Canucks GM Patrick Allvin said Boeser is day-to-day and Lazar is expected to miss three to four weeks.
Lazar played on Monday.
The Canucks have been hit hard by the injury bug all season, with star defenceman Quinn Hughes among those sidelined. Hughes also is day-to-day, Allvin said.
Boeser has four assists in six games this year, while Lazar has one goal in seven games.
The winless Canucks return to action on Thursday against the Seattle Kraken.
