The Vancouver Canucks will be without defenceman Carson Soucy for the next five to six weeks because of a hand injury.
Soucy left Saturday's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs with an undisclosed injury.
The 29-year-old has struggled with injuries in his first season since joining the Canucks as a free agent. Soucy has two goals and six points in 21 games while averaging 17:24 of ice time.
Vancouver signed Soucy to a three-year, $9.75 million contract this past off-season.
Soucy had his season delayed by an undisclosed injury and also missed 23 games with a lower-body ailment.
