Vancouver Canucks forward Phillip Di Giuseppe left Tuesday's game against the Philadelphia Flyers and will not return, the team announced.
Di Giuseppe registered one shot on goal in 2:13 of ice time before he was forced to exit.
Head coach Rick Tocchet was asked about the forward's injury after the game and said that although he hasn't talked to team doctors, he figured it would be "a while" before Di Giuseppe is able to return to the lineup.
Tuesday was his first game back in the lineup since Dec. 21 against the Dallas Stars.
The 30-year-old forward has three goals and five assists in 31 games for the Canucks this season.
