The Vancouver Canucks can breathe a sigh of relief going into the NHL's holiday break.
Captain Quinn Hughes is officially in the lineup for Monday's game against the San Jose Sharks.
The defenceman was previously listed as a game-time decision after coach Rick Tocchet revealed Hughes was "dealing with a couple things," following Saturday's loss against the Ottawa Senators.
Hughes logged a total of 26:30 of ice time in Saturday's overtime defeat to the Senators and contributed a goal and two assists.
This season, Hughes has appeared in 33 games for the Canucks, recording eight goals and 32 assists.
