The Vancouver Canucks will add some fresh energy to their lineup Thursday with the NHL debut of right-winger Kole Lind.
Lind, 22, was originally a second-round pick by the Canucks in 2017. He has spent parts of the past four seasons with AHL Utica, and scored five goals and eight points in eight AHL games this season.
The Canucks, playing the second game of a back-to-back after losing 6-3 to the Ottawa Senators Wednesday, will start Braden Holtby in net against Toronto. Defenceman Jalen Chatfield will also draw into the lineup. Head coach Travis Green did not reveal who Lind and Chatfield will be replacing.
