Kevin Lankinen will get back in goal starting for the Vancouver Canucks when they take on the Ottawa Senators Saturday night.
Lankinen last played back on Nov. 17 against Nashville. The 29-year-old has struggled over his last four games, allowing 16 goals and posting a 1-3 record.
Vancouver is trying to end a two-game slump against an Ottawa team that has lost its last four games.
Forward Max Sasson will also make his NHL debut after getting called up by the Canucks on Thursday from Abbotsford, where he has four goals and nine points in 16 games.
The 24-year-old is in his second professional season in the AHL, where he posted 42 points in 56 games as a rookie last season. He went undrafted to the NHL and did not start playing college hockey until he turned 21.
The Canucks sent down Jonathan Lekkerimäki to make room for Sasson.
At morning skate, Brock Boeser was working with coach Henrik Sedin and goalie Thatcher Demko. Boeser returned to practice in a non-contact jersey on Friday in Ottawa after missing the last two weeks with a concussion.
