With two pre-season games remaining, two franchise cornerstones are finally back in action for the Vancouver Canucks.
Elias Pettersson and Quinn Hughes, both of whom signed new deals with the Canucks last week, will be in the lineup as Vancouver takes on the Edmonton Oilers Thursday on Sportsnet ONE at 9 p.m ET / 6 p.m. PT.

Pettersson's new contract is for three years with a $7.35 million average annual value. Hughes agreed to a six-year deal and a $7.85 million AAV.
The Canucks are 2-3 this pre-season, coming off a 4-0 loss to the expansion Seattle Kraken on Tuesday, and looking to bounce back this season after a disastrous 2020-21 campaign.
