Canucks' Pius Suter set to return from lower-body injury vs. Panthers

Vancouver Canucks forward Pius Suter will return to the lineup Thursday when the team faces the Florida Panthers, head coach Rick Tocchet announced.

Suter has not played since Nov. 12 after suffering a lower-body injury. He only started practising with the team again on Dec. 8.

The 27-year-old will centre the fourth line between Andrei Kuzmenko and Phil Di Giuseppe, while Nils Aman comes out of the lineup to make room for his return.

In 15 games this season, his first with the Canucks, Suter has recorded four goals and no assists.

Vancouver and Florida face off at Rogers Arena — after Roberto Luongo is added to the Canucks' Ring of Honour — starting at 7 p.m. PT / 10 p.m. ET wher. Catch the game on Sportsnet Pacific in the Canucks Region and Sportsnet+ Premium from coast-to-coast in Canada.
