Max Sasson is back up with the big club.
The Vancouver Canucks recalled the 24-year-old forward from AHL Abbotsford under emergency conditions, the team announced Friday.
Sasson made his NHL debut with the Canucks this season, and has recorded two goals and four assists in 24 games. He has nine goals and 17 assists in 37 AHL games in 2024-25.
The Canucks are without forwards Elias Petterson and Nils Hoglander, who are both back in Vancouver treating injuries suffered in Saturday's game against the New York Rangers.
Vancouver is in Columbus to take on the Blue Jackets on Friday in the fifth game of a six-game road trip.
