The Vancouver Canucks are rounding out their bottom-six.
The club announced that it had come to terms with forward Danton Heinen on a two-year contract worth $4.5 million on Monday.
Heinen, 28, spent last season with the Boston Bruins, scoring 17 goals and 36 points in 74 games.
He previously played for the Pittsburgh Penguins and Anaheim Ducks.
The Langley, B.C., native was selected in the fourth round of the 2014 NHL Draft by the Bruins.
