The Vancouver Canucks have signed forward Justin Bailey to a one-year, two-way contract, the team announced Thursday.
Bailey, 25, split the 2019-20 season between the Canucks and the AHL’s Utica Comets. He appeared in two games with Vancouver and registered 47 points (28 goals, 19 assists) in 53 games with the Comets. He ranked second on Utica in goals (28) and third in points (47).
The Buffalo, N.Y., native was originally drafted 52nd overall by the Buffalo Sabres in the 2013 NHL Draft.
