The Vancouver Canucks have re-signed forward Tyler Motte to a two-year contract with an average annual value of $1.225 million.
Motte, 25, recorded four goals and eight points in 34 games for the Canucks last season, while adding four goals and an assist in 17 post-season contests this summer in the Edmonton bubble.
The 121st-overall pick in 2013 by the Chicago Blackhawks, who is a St. Clair, Mich., native, was acquired by the Canucks in February 2018 as part of the Thomas Vanek deal with the Columbus Blue Jackets.
