Defenceman Carson Soucy and oft-scratched forward Andrei Kuzmenko will both play in the Canucks' game on Saturday, according to head coach Rick Tocchet.
Soucy has been out with a lower-body injury since Nov. 12 and is making his return after being activated off of LTIR.
Kuzmenko has been a frequent healthy scratch by Tocchet and has not played since Jan. 2 against Ottawa.
Meanwhile, Nikita Zadorov will be sidelined against the Devils as the defenceman deals with an undisclosed injury, being classified as "day-to-day."
The team also announced Saturday that forward Phillip Di Giuseppe was placed on LTIR after leaving Tuesday's game.
Di Giuseppe played just 2:13 before he was forced to exit. Tocchet was asked about the forward's injury after the game and said that although he hasn't talked to team doctors, he figured it would be "a while" before Di Giuseppe is able to return to the lineup.
It wasn't immediately clear what forced him to leave the game.
The Canucks' game against New Jersey can be seen on Hockey Night in Canada on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+ at 7:00 p.m. ET / 4:00 p.m. PT.
