The Vancouver Canucks will be resting a handful of their regular players on Thursday night when they visit the Winnipeg Jets.
According to head coach Rick Tocchet, forwards Brock Boeser and J.T. Miller and defencemen Filip Hronek and Ian Cole will sit out the regular-season finale as they rest up for Game 1 of the playoffs.
The Canucks' opponent for their first-round series will be the Nashville Predators.
Boeser, Miller and Hronek played in all 81 games leading up to Thursday's contest, while Cole played in 78.
All-star forward Elias Pettersson and star defenceman Quinn Hughes will both reach 82 games on the season.
The Jets are expected to also sit out several players, including Connor Hellebuyck, Josh Morrissey, Mark Scheifele, Adam Lowry, Brenden Dillon and Kyle Connor.
