Capitals' Alex Ovechkin returns from lower-body injury vs. Blues

In a new edition of his Power Rankings, Ryan Dixon goes over some NHLers that bounced back from terrible performances in past years and are now shining in the current season.

Washington Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin will return to the lineup Thursday against the St. Louis Blues.

Ovechkin missed the previous three games with a lower-body injury.

Ovechkin was on a six-game point streak before his injury but overall this has been a disappointing season for the veteran sniper.

In 39 games this season, Ovechkin has eight goals and 27 points.
