Washington Capitals forward T.J. Oshie wasn't sure if he'd be able to skate in his 1,000th game on Saturday night, but in the end he was healthy enough to do so.
Oshie was officially a game-time decision for the game due to an upper-body injury, but after taking warmups he was good to go.
Oshie became the 390th player to appear in 1,000 games and he entered play with 301 goals, 388 assists and 689 points in his career.
Oshie, 37, broke into the NHL in 2008-09 with the Blues was traded to the Capitals after seven seasons. He helped the Capitals win the franchise's only Stanley Cup in 2018.
