The Carolina Hurricanes have added forward Jack Roslovic in free agency, the team announced Thursday.
Roslovic's deal is for one year at $2.8 million.
Roslovic, 27, spent time with the Winnipeg Jets and Columbus Blue Jackets before being dealt to the Presidents' Trophy-winning New York Rangers at the 2024 trade deadline.
Upon his arrival to New York, Roslovic was unable to replicate the career highs he set in Columbus when instilled into the Rangers’ offensive fold following the deadline, scoring just three goals and eight points through 19 regular season games with the club.
Roslovic has appeared in 445 career games in the NHL and accumulated 80 goals and 221 points. He was selected 25th overall by the Jets in 2015 and finished his tenure in Winnipeg with a then-career-high 29 points.
