The Arizona Coyotes have signed forward Conor Geekie to a three-year, entry-level contract, general manager Bill Armstrong announced on Monday.

Geekie, 18, was selected in the first round, 11th overall, by the Coyotes in the 2022 NHL Draft.

"He is a big, skilled two-way centre with good vision and a strong hockey IQ," Armstrong said of Geekie. "We look forward to watching his development."

In 63 games with the Winnipeg ICE of the WHL, Geekie scored 24 goals and 46 assists, making him just over a point-per-game player.

The season prior to his draft year, 2020-2021, Geekie ranked second in scoring amongst WHL rookies.
