The Tampa Bay Lightning have signed defenceman Philippe Myers to a one-year, $1.4 million contract extension, the club announced Friday.
The Nashville Predators traded the native of Moncton, N.B., to the Lightning on July 3 in the Ryan McDonagh deal.
Myers had one goal and three assists in 27 games for the Predators last season.
The six-foot-five, 210-pound Myers, 25, has seven goals and 26 assists in 142 career NHL games with the Philadelphia Flyers and Predators.
