The Los Angeles Kings have signed defenceman Sean Durzi to a two-year contract extension, the team announced Thursday.
The deal is for $3.4 million -- $1.4 million in the first year and $2 million in the second.
Durzi, 23, had three goals and 24 assists in 64 games in his rookie NHL season last year with the Kings.
The Toronto Maple Leafs selected Durzi in the second round (52nd overall) of the 2018 NHL Draft.
The Kings acquired Durzi in a trade sending defenceman Jake Muzzin to Toronto the following year.
