Former Toronto Maple Leaf Denis Malgin is headed back home to Switzerland.
The 26-year-old Switzerland native is set to play in the National League after signing a five-year deal with the ZSC Lions on Tuesday. He will be under contract till the 2027-28 season.
Malign spent five seasons in the NHL, skating for the Maple Leafs, the Colorado Avalanche and the Florida Panthers. The forward racked up a total of 81 points (41 goals, 40 assists) in 257 career NHL games.
Malgin was selected in the fourth round of the 2015 NHL Draft by the Florida Panthers.
