The New Jersey Devils and forward Miles Wood have agreed to a one-year, $3.2-million contract, the club announced Thursday.
With the signing, the two parties have avoided an arbitration hearing, which was scheduled to take place on Saturday. According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, the arbitration filings were $3.85 million from Wood and $2.975 million from the team.
Wood, 26, played only three games last season due to hip surgery after producing 25 points in 55 games in 2020-21.
