The New Jersey Devils have re-signed defenceman Santeri Hatakka to a one-year, two-way deal worth $775,000 at the NHL level, the team announced on Monday.
The contract is worth $125,000 at the AHL level and is guaranteed for $150,000.
Hatakka, 23, played 12 games with the Devils last season, tallying two assists. He also appeared in 48 games with the AHL's Utica Comets, picking up five goals and 15 assists.
The native of Riihimaki, Finland, was drafted by the San Jose Sharks in the sixth round, 184th overall, at the 2019 NHL Draft.
