The New Jersey Devils have re-signed forward Kurtis MacDermid to a three-year contract worth $3.45 million total with a $1.15 million salary cap hit, the club announced Friday.
MacDermid's contract breaks down as follows; in 2024-25 he'll make $1,25 million, then $1.2 million in 2025-26, followed by $1 million in 2026-27.
The 30-year-old was acquired by New Jersey from the Colorado Avalanche for a seventh-round pick in the 2024 NHL Draft and forward Zakhar Bardakov. In 45 games last season, MacDermid had two goals and three points.
MacDermid has 31 points in 265 career NHL regular-season games with the Devils, Avalanche and Los Angeles Kings.
