The New Jersey Devils have signed netminder Erik Kallgren to a one-year, two-way deal, the club announced Saturday.
Kallgren's new contract is worth $775,000 at the NHL level and $450,000 at the AHL level, per the club.
The 26-year-old spent the past two seasons with the Toronto Maple Leafs, appearing in 24 games for the club over that span, putting up a .892 save percentage and 3.04 goals-against average.
Kallgren briefly made waves in Toronto in 2022, after earning a 35-save shutout in his first NHL start.
The Stockholm native was originally drafted by Arizona in the seventh round of the 2015 NHL Draft. He spent the majority of last season with the AHL's Toronto Marlies, putting up a .883 save percentage and 3.26 goals-against average.
