The New Jersey Devils have signed goaltender Jonathan Bernier to a two-year deal worth $8.25 million deal.
A first-round pick of the Los Angeles Kings in the 2006 NHL draft, Bernier has spent the last three seasons with the Detroit Red Wings.
In 24 games with Detroit during 2020-2021, Bernier posted a 9-11-0-1 record with a 2.99 goals-against average and .914 save percentage.
