Leon Draisaitl, Auston Matthews and Bo Horvat are among the 12 players named to NHL All-Star Game rosters through the fan vote.
The results were announced Thursday night:
Metro Division
Atlantic Division
Auston Matthews
Central Division
Pacific Division
Leon Draisaitl
Bo Horvat
Draisaitl entered Thursday second in the league with 70 points, trailing Edmonton Oilers teammate Connor McDavid (84 points), who was named an All-Star earlier this month when one player was selected from each of the league’s 32 clubs.
The Oilers' sharpshooter is currently on pace to set new career highs in both points and assists this season after setting career highs in both goals and assists last year.
Matthews joins fellow Toronto Maple Leafs forward Mitch Marner, while Horvat will represent the Vancouver Canucks alongside Elias Pettersson.
The Toronto forward will make his fifth All-Star Game appearance which means he has now made the second most all-star appearances in Maple Leafs' history since the NHL's expansion era, only behind Mats Sundin's eight.
Connor Hellebuyck, who’s enjoying a standout season in net for the Winnipeg Jets, was also voted in by fans. He entered Thursday second in the NHL with 22 wins.
Bo Horvat will make just the second NHL All-Star Game appearance of his career, and his first since 2017. He will join teammate Elias Pettersson on the team after scoring 30 goals in 44 games for the Canucks this season.
Meanwhile, Oilers goalie Stuart Skinner will become just the second rookie to represent Edmonton in an NHL All-Star Game, following in the footsteps of 19-year-old Grant Fuhr in 1982. However, Skinner won't be the only rookie netminder in the game, as Golden Knights netminder Logan Thompson was also named to the team, making it the first All-Star Game in league history to feature two first-year goaltenders.
The 2023 NHL All-Star Game is set for Feb. 4 at FLA Live Arena in Sunrise, Fla. It will feature a three-game tournament, played in a 3-on-3 format. The skills competition will take place the previous night.
Fan voting ran from Jan. 5-17.
