The Anaheim Ducks announced Thursday evening that they have acquired centre Dylan Sikura from the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for left winger Maxim Golod.
Anaheim also announced that Sikura will report to the team's AHL affiliate, the San Diego Gulls.
Sikura, 27, has not played an NHL game in 2022-23, but has appeared in 58 games since 2017-18 with Chicago, the Vegas Golden Knights and the Colorado Avalanche.
He has spent this season with the Rockford IceHogs of the AHL, totalling 14 goals and 32 points in 52 games.
Golod has appeared in one game with the Gulls in 2022-23, spending most of his season with the Tulsa Oilers of the ECHL, where he has scored 12 goals and 43 points in 42 games.
