Ducks' Gibson exits with lower-body injury vs. Oilers

Anaheim Ducks goalie John Gibson exited Saturday's game against the Edmonton Oilers with a lower-body injury in the third period, the team said.

Lukas Dostal replaced Gibson with the Ducks trailing 5-0.

Gibson has been the main man in net for a bad Ducks team this season. The three-time NHL All-Star entered Saturday's game with a record of 14-29-8 with a 3.95 goals-against average and a save percentage of .900.

The Ducks are in a fight for top spot in the Draft Lottery, sitting third-last in the league.

Gibson has four years left on an eight-year, $51.2-million contract.
