Anaheim Ducks centre Isac Lundestrom has undergone surgery for an Achilles injury and will be out for approximately six months, the team announced Thursday.
Lundestrom, 23, suffered the injury during his off-season training.
Drafted by the Ducks in the first round (23rd overall) at the 2018 NHL Draft, Lundestrom has spent the last five seasons with the organization.
Over 61 games in 2022-23, Lundestrom recorded 14 points (four goals and 10 assists). He missed 21 games due to a broken finger.
