The Anaheim Ducks will be without goalie John Gibson for remainder of Thursday's game against the Carolina Hurricanes, the team announced.
Lukas Dostal replaced Gibson for the third period after Gibson did not return from the second period intermission after suffering an apparent upper-body injury, though it's unclear what led to his injury.
The 30-year-old net minder has started 25 games for Anaheim this season, notching seven wins with a .903 save percentage.
He is the second goalie to leave the game after Hurricanes starter was forced to leave the game in the second period with an upper-body injury. Kochetkov was run into after making a save as Ducks forward Isac Lundestrom made contact with his head.
