The Anaheim Ducks have placed centre Adam Henrique on waivers, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reports.

Henrique, 31, has four points and a minus-eight rating in 16 games this season with Anaheim. He led the Ducks in goals (26) and points (43) last season.

"Adam is not alone in this," Ducks general manager Bob Murray told The Athleitc. "But I'm tired of talking and waiting. We need results and difficult decisions must be made."

The 11-year NHL vet is currently in the second season of a five-year deal that carries a $5.825-million cap hit, which is the second-highest among Ducks forwards and fourth-highest on the team.

Henrique was selected in the third round of the 2008 NHL Draft by the New Jersey Devils. He has played 681 games and registered 382 points in the NHL.
